Viewer Description Embryos
Embryo View Viewed as a whole embryo with key anatomical structures highlighted in colour
Section Browser A precalculated set of sections in the sagittal, frontal or transverse planes can be viewed alongside the names of the anatomical components.
Section Movies Movies of x-y (transverse) cardinal-plane sections though the embryos
Movies of y-z (approx. frontal) cardinal-plane sections though the embryos
Movies of z-x (approx sagittal) cardinal-plane sections though the embryos
Original Section Browser View of the original section data
Annotations Notes on the grey-level reconstruction of each embryo
Notes on the anatomical delineation/painting of each embryo
Section View* The model can be sectioned in any plane and the anatomical structures highlighted as coloured domains
MAPaint* This viewer has the same functuality as Section View but with the added facility of being able to paint.
Anatomy Browser Anatomy Database - text browser or java browser (Note these link to the Mouse Atlas web site

* The code for viewing the reconstructions using SectionView will currently only run under the Unix operating system and will only be efficient if there is at least 64 MB RAM. For an updated list of Unix versions of the software
