Original Digitised Histology for Theiler Stage 26 (E17.5)
The tissue sections were originally digitised at a pixel resolution of
5.2x5.2 microns. For the voxel reconstruction each section image was subsampled
by a factor of 2 to give a final voxel resolution of 10.4x10.4x14 microns
(initial reconstruction used every other section) so that the resulting
reconstruction was approximately isotropic and therefore provides a more
uniform view on re-sectioning. This inevitably loses some of the
detail therefore we provide a viewer of the original section data. This
view requires a Java enabled browser (e.g. Netscape and MS Internet Explorer)
and has been tested on Solaris (unix), MS Windows (95/98/NT) and Mac. Move
the section line using the mouse or arrow keys. The plane number reported
on the view corresponds to the plane number reported in the SectionView
application program. This popup window will disappear if you change this
page therefore if you want to keep the section-browser visible and move
top a new page, start up a new window within your html-browser.
If a button marked "Launch Section Chooser" has not appeared above then
your bowser is not Java enabled or something else has gone wrong. Please
report the problem to the Mouse

option.
