EMAGE Webservice

Introduction
Web services are a way to access the emage database (server), over the internet, using specially written software on another computer (client).
The interface to the web services is described by WSDL. WSDL is a language that defines the services provided, and the data structures involved. Programmers can use the WSDL description to design client software that makes requests to emage and processes the results that are returned.
The MouseAtlas project uses apache axis to deliver its web services.
Programmers who wish to access emage using web services should refer to the service descriptions and wsdl and the Documentation (xml).
We would very much appreciate it if potential (or actual) users of the web services could contact us with details of how they are using the web services that we provide. Please also feel free to contact us if you require any further help or advice regarding these web services.
