Notes:
Images F and E are the immunohistochemistry stainings, spatially mapped in this EMAGE entry (F is higher magnification than E). Image D shows an accompanying image of an in situ hybridisation for Otx2 mRNA from the same study. Image annotations: ame - axial mesoderm, ane - anterior neuroectoderm, arrowheads - posterior border of Otx2 expression.

Notes:The anti-OTX2 antisera used in this study by Acampora et al, 1998 [PMID:9811592] is described as "polyclonal antisera directed against OTX2 (Mallamaci et al., 1996 [PMID:8887325] ). Mallamaci et al describe the Otx2 antigen as being translated from a "0.9kb filled-in EcoRI-EcoRI fragment, corresponding to the coding region of the murine Otx2 cDNA (Simeone et al, 1993 [PMID:8101484] )". The sequence is not reported Simeone et al - exact end points of antigen sequence undefined.
