Notes:The anti-Crabp1 antibody used in this study by McKay et al., 1994 [PMID:7925021] was "an affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence from bovine CRABP I. The antibody has been characterised by Eriksson et al. (1987 [PMID:2826496] ) and shown to be specific for CRABP I by Maden et al. (1992 [PMID:1351399] ). Bound antibody was detected with the ABC kit (Vector Laboratories), using an HRP-conjugated secondary antibody and diaminobenzidine". See Figure 2 in Eriksson et al. for sequences of possible bovine Crabp1 peptides used to raise antibodies. Unknown as to which anti-peptide antibody used in McKay et al.
