Notes:The anti-DLX5 antibody used in this study by Toresson et al., 2000 [PMID:11003836] was previously described in Toresson et al., 1999 [PMID:10021349] as a "rabbit anti-distal-less (i.e. DLX, 1:200, provided by Dr G. Panganiban)". NB. This antibody is broadly cross-reactive amongst phyla (recognizing Dll/Dlx gene products in arthropoda, vertebrata, urochordata, annelida, nematoda, echinodermata, and onychophora). It recognizes at least five vertebrate Dlx proteins (PNAS 94, 5162).
