Notes:The probe used in this study by Torres et al, 1995 [PMID:8575306] is indicated as being "a 700bp EcoRI fragment from the pmcret10 plasmid of c-ret (Pachnis et al, 1993 [PMID:8306871] )". A restriction map of pmcret10 is shown in Fig 1A of Pachnis. pmcret10 was cloned using a ZAP-cDNA kit (Stratagene) which utilises a 5' EcoRI linker. Unable to ascertain if the 700bp EcoRI fragment stretches from the 5' EcoRI linker to the first internal EcoRI site or between the two internal EcoRI sites.
