Editor's Note: Yoshida et al give ambiguous information i.e. they describe the probe as a "300 bp cDNA fragment obtained by PCR that covers the stop codon and the HindIII site in the 3' untranslated region (Simeone et al., 1992 [PMID:1352754] )", whereas Simeone et al describe the probe as "a 650 nucleotide AluI-EcoRI fragment".
