Notes:
The main image shows immunostaining of Epor+/+ embryos for EpoR showing the production pattern of EpoR in the brain. The inset shows transgene expression of an Epor-lacZ promoter-reporter gene construct that provides tissue-specific expression in regions corresponding to endogenous EpoR production at E10.5

Notes:The anti-erythropoietin-receptor antibody used in this study by Yu et al., 2002 [PMID:11807041] was described as "polyclonal anti-EpoR (Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Santa Cruz, CA) at a dilution of 1:400". Tenfold excess blocking peptide was used to determine the specificity of the primary antibody. Editor's note: Santa Cruz Biotech sell several anti-EpoR antisera - it it not stipulated which was used here.
