Editor's Note: The PstI cut site at nt1253 in Blum's published sequence (M85271.1) is equivalent to the PstI site at nt570 in the Gsc mRNA RefSeq NM_010351.1. Therefore a 580nt probe cDNA probe would extend from nt570-1150 in NM_010351.1 as shown above.
