Fig1D shows immunostaining using the anti-Prdm1(Blimp-1) 3H2E8 antisera and Fig1E shows isotype-matched mouse IgG1 antibody standard unlabeled (Southern Biotech) on an adjecent section to Fig1D, which was used here as a negative control. Fig 1F shows immunostaining using the anti-Prdm1(Blimp-1) 3H2E8 antisera elsewhere in the embryo. The cartoon shows the approximate regions of the embryo where these sections were taken from. Image annotations: ne - neural ectoderm, arrowheads in Fig1D point to expression in endoderm of the foregut pocket and arrows point to expression in splanchnopleure.
