Notes:The Isl1 probe used in this study by Bulchand et al, 2001 [PMID:11165475] , is indicated as that used by Tole et al, 2000 [PMID:10625551] , who in turn describe it as "rat Isl1 (1.5 kb) (Karlsson et al, 1990 [PMID:1691825] ". Editors note: Karlsson et al mention that the insert sequences of several rat Isl1 cDNA clones were pieced together to produce the 2389nt sequence shown in Fig2 therein. The sequence start and end points of the contributing 1.5kb clone are not reported.
