Notes:The Wnt2 probe used in this study by Monkley et al., 1996 [PMID:8951051] was described as being "subcloned from a near full-length Wnt2 cDNA clone isolated from a C57B16/CBA adult mouse lung library", the "probe was from within the coding region". A second Wnt2 probe which gave "identical staining pattern" was also used (MGI:2447724), and was described as being "from the 3' untranslated region" and produced in the same way. "The probe that gave the strongest signal was used in subsequent experiments".
