Notes:The Irx1 probe used in this study by Cohen et al, 2000 [PMID:10704856] is described as follows "Digoxigenin-labeled RNA probes were synthesized from either of the following templates: pIrx1a, a 547 bp BamHI fragment containing the 3'UTR of Irx1 (MGI:2677426); pIrx1b, a 1.2 kb BamHI segment containing the ORF of Irx1 (MGI:2677427)". Editors note: it is not specified which of these probes was actually used in this particular assay, however the authors say that both probes yield similar patterns.
