Notes:The Hoxd12 (Hox-4.7) probe template used in this study by Bruneau et al., 2001 [PMID:11543619] is indicated as that previously described by Izpisua-Belmonte et al., 1991 [PMID:1676674] i.e. "a 1400 bp EcoRI fragment containing part of the Hox-4.7 homeobox" that was subcloned into pGEM. See Fig 1 therein. Editors note: the probe start and end co-ordinates with respect to the mouse Chr2 genomic DNA sequence AL928644.12 above were deduced using this information.
