Notes:The Myog (myogenin) probe used in this study by Vivian et al., 2000 [PMID:10898959] is described as "An EcoRI fragment of the mouse myogenin cDNA (Edmonson and Olson, 1989 [PMID:2473006] ), containing the 5' untranslated region and the entire coding region, but lacking most of the 3' untranslated region (corresponding to nucleotides +1 to +1040)". Editors note: X15784.1 is the mouse myogenin cDNA sequence submitted to GenBank by Edmonson and Olson, and matches the sequence of myogenin shown in Fig 1 of their paper [PMID:2473006] apart from a ~70nt sequence deletion at the 5' end. EcoRI cuts X15784.1 at position 1035. The 5' EcoRI site is presumed to be linker derived.
