Notes:The Zic1 probe used in this study by Elms et al., 2004 [PMID:15261827] was "generated from a BMAP clone that contained bases 1948-2947 of mouse Zic1 3'UTR (NM_009573) cloned into pT7T3D-pac (Pharmacia). An antisense riboprobe was generated to this clone by digestion with XhoI and transcription with T3 RNA polymerase". Editors note: on Feb 9 2004 NM_009573.2 replaced NM_009573.1. These two sequence versions vary by 100+ nt in length at the 5' end and it is not reported which version Elms refer to. Exact probe sequence is unknown from the author's description.
