Notes: | The Cux2 probe used in this study by Iulianella et al., 2003 [PMID:12971989] was "obtained by PCR amplification of E11.5 head RNA using the following primers: CCCTCAACCCCAGCTTCAG and CCCTGGGTGGGAAGCCCTT. The resulting 1.4 KB fragment contained the third cut domain and homeodomain up to 25 nucleotides following the stop site in the 3' untranslated region. The fragment was cloned into the pCRII-TOPO vector using the TOPO TA cloning kit from Invitrogen (Carlsbad, California) and confirmed by sequencing. Digoxigenin-labeled antisense riboprobes were transcribed using Sp6 RNA polymerase from EcoRV-linearized templates." |
