Expression pattern clarity: two stars

Notes:
Fig5C is a section taken through the thoracic region of an embryo of the same stage as that shown in Fig5A. The apparent strong neural expression in this specimen is probably due to reagent trapping as the authors mention this problem in the legend of Figure 3, in reference to other samples. All samples in this paper show this problem to varying degrees. Image annotations: Fig5A arrows indicate tenascin-C expressed segmentally in the flank. Fig5C arrows indicate expression in the lateral sclerotome (between the arrows), nt - neural tube, n - notochord, da - dorsal aorta.

Entity Detected:Tnc, tenascin C ( MGI:101922)
Notes:The Tnc probe used in this study by Henderson et al., 1999 [PMID:10208749] is described as being produced using primers which were designed to the published sequence of tenascin-C (base pairs 16-40 and 423-447; GenBank). Editors note: The sequence of this probe remains undefined as the authors do not specify which GenBank sequence these base pair numbers refer to.
