Notes:The Hand2 (dHAND) probe used in this study by Clouthier et al., 2000 [PMID:10625532] was previously described by Srivastava et al., 1997 [PMID:9171826] as "synthesized with T7 polymerase from partial mouse dHAND (nucleotide 292-644) cDNA after linearization with EcoRI." Editirs note: Srivastava et al., 1997 also reference an earlier paper (Srivastava et al., 1995 [PMID:8533092] ) which similarly describes the probe and specifies the GenBank ID for the sequence as U40039.1. As this sequence has no EcoRI cut sites within it, this is presumed to be found in the polylinker of the vector.
