Notes:
The authors state that these expression data were generated from embryos heterozygous for the I114 gene trap integration after five generations of backcrossing to the C57BL/6 background and were not significantly affected by genetic background. An identical pattern was observed in I114 homozygous embryos derived from (129/CGR x MF1) F1 intercrosses and (129/CGR x 129/CGR) F3 intercrosses (data not shown).

Entity Detected:Ankrd17, ankyrin repeat domain 17 ( MGI:1932101)
Notes:Ankrd17 expression was detected in this study by Watt et al., 2001 [PMID:11165478] using the I114 genetrap line. The gene trap is inserted in an early intron. LacZ is expressed from one of two transcripts which contain the gene trap. Insertion of this gene trap does not prevent transcript of the normal gene product.
