Notes:The Chrdl1 (neuralin-1) probe used in this study by Coffinier et al, 2001 [PMID:11118896] . was "synthesized using the same 2.5 kb fragment subcloned into pKS+, linearized with Not I and transcribed using the T3 RNA polymerase". The "2.5kb fragment" was "isolated from a Rapid-Screen arrayed cDNA library (OriGene) made from E12.5 mouse embryos" when screened using a PCR fragment. Editors note: the authors mention elsewhere in the paper a clone (submitted to GenBank as AF305714.1 - 2.7kb), which is assumed to be the 2.5kb clone eluded to.
