Notes:The Ctsd probe template used in this study by Zuzarte-Luis, 2007 [PMID:16987511] is described as follows: "Fragment of mouse cathepsin D (mCatD) gene was obtained by RT-PCR. First-strand cDNA was synthesized with random hexamers and M-MulV reverse transcriptase (Fermentas) and 1 mg of total RNA from day 7 autopods. The following primers were used for subsequent PCR amplification; for mCatD-fwd: 5'-TAA TGC TTG GTG GCA CTG ACT-3' and rev: 5'-TCT GGG TCA GAG CAG GTT TCT-3'."
