Notes:The Gpc4 probe used in this study by Ybot-Gonzalez et al., 2005 [PMID:15830372] "was prepared using the primers 5'tgatgagagtagtggagagg3' and 5'tacatgccaagaaaggaccc3', which amplify a 619-bp region localized between base pairs 1939 and 2558 (GenBank accession no. NM_008150). The region of glypican-4 selected for amplification is based on limited sequence similarity to other members of the glypican family".
