Editors note: Miyake et al, describe the cloning of human and rat Fgf16 (and performed in situ hybridisations on rat embryo sections with a probe transcribed from their rat cDNA clone), whereas NM_030614 refers to a mouse Fgf16 sequence. It is unclear which clone/species was used by Wright et al to generate probe.
