Notes:Lama1 expression in this study by Miner et al, 2004. [PMID:15102706] was assayed using mice generated from an ES cell line with insertions in Lama1 (PST008) (provided by William Skarnes). ES cell isolation and identification and production of heterozygous mice have been reported (Leighton et al., 2001 [PMID:11242070] ; Mitchell et al., 2001 [PMID:11431694] ; Yin et al., 2003 [PMID:12820173] ). This mutation was caused by the insertion of the gene trap vector pGT0TMp into the 3rd intron. The fusion protein includes the first endogenous 121 amino acids, containing the signal sequence and about half of its globular domain VI, followed by the transmembrane domain and Betageo reporter from the vector.
