Notes:Mtrr expression in this study by Elmore et al., 2007 [PMID:17369066] was assayed using mice with a gene trapped insertion. pGT1Lxf, containing En2 intron/exon with splice acceptor, beta-galactosidase and neomycin resistance cassettes (beta-geo), and SV40 polyA site and ampicillin resisitance, 41.0 cM, pGT1Lxf insertion in intron 9, between exons 9 and 10. Inserted exactly 398 bp downstream of exon 9 and approximately 1.5 Kb upstream of exon 10. Resultant LacZ expression in heterozygotes was assayed using in situ hybridisation for the LacZ transcript.
