Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:MGI:1333123
Entity Detected:Bmp5, bone morphogenetic protein 5 ( MGI:88181)
Notes:The probe used in this study by Solloway & Robertson, 1999 [PMID:10079236] is indicated as being originally described by Solloway et al, 1998 [PMID:9664685] ie. as a "~1.0kb fragment of the Bmp5 cDNA comprised of nucleotides -33 to 998 of the pro-region (a gift from David Kingsley, Stanford University)". GenBank entry NM_007555.1 for Bmp5 from Kingsley et al define the pro-region as an 806nt region between nt 103-909 of NM_0007555.1. Exact end-points of probe therefore unclear.
