Notes:The Aldh1a3 (Raldh3) probe used in this study by Molotkova et al., 2007 [PMID:17207476] is indicated as that previously described by Mic et al., 2002 [PMID:11959834] , who in turn refer to Mic et al, 2000 [PMID:11025231] who describe the probe as follows: "An 800 base antisense riboprobe covering the 3' half of the mouse RALDH3 cDNA was prepared from SP6 transcription of an ApaI digest of the plasmid containing the full-length cDNA in pGEM-T Easy (Promega, Madison, Wisconsin)." Editors note: Elsewhere Mic et al, 2000 state that the full-length clone isolated is AF280404, which ApaI cuts at nt 730.
