Type:in situ reporter
Entity Detected:Btg2, B-cell translocation gene 2, anti-proliferative ( MGI:108384)
Notes:Btg2 (Tis21) expression was detected in this study by Haubensak et al., 2004 [PMID:14963232] using heterozygous Tis21-GFP knock-in embryos. In the constuction of these mice, homologous recombination was used to replace the coding portion of exon 1 with GFPpA fused to a floxed neo cassette. Subsequent cre-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette, leaving GFPpA and one loxp site. Full details of the generation of the Tis21-GFP mice can be found in the supporting text of the paper.
