Notes:The Myl1 (MLC3) probe used in this study by Jiang et al., 2002 [PMID:11884037] detected both MLC1f and MLC3f transcripts and "was a 293-bp PCR product corresponding to exons 2 and 3 (specific for MLC3), and exons 5 and 6 (common to both MLC1f and MLC3f), from mouse skeletal muscle cDNA as described (McGrew et al., 1996 [PMID:8754853] )". See Figure 1 of McGrew et al for a schematic diagram showing the region covered.
