Notes:The Ccdc88a (HkRP1) probe used in this study by Simpson et al., 2005 [PMID:15882442] is described as follows: "The probe for whole-mount in situ hybridization was amplified by reverse transcriptase (RT)-PCR from E11.5 mouse head total RNA (from Edwina McGlinn, IMB, Brisbane, Australia) with the primers HkRP-C1F (5'-ATGGCCTTCTCTACTACAGCC-3') and HkRP-C1R (5'-AGCTTTGTTGCTCCCTAGACC-3'). This fragment represents homologous mouse sequence corresponding to codons 1427-1768 of the human HkRP sequence and specific to HkRP1."
