Notes:The Nrp2 (Npn-2) probe used in this study by Gammill et al., 2006 [PMID:16319111] is indicated as that described by Giger et al., 2000 [PMID:10707970] i.e. transcribed from a "rat Npn-2 template", "a 2558 bp EcoRI fragment of the Npn-2 ectodomain beginning 102 bp downstream of the first translation initiation codon (Kolodkin et al., 1997 [PMID:9288754] )". Editor's note: the rat neuropilin cDNA sequence submitted to GenBank by Kolkodin et al is AF016297.1. Within this sequence, the translation initiation codon is at position 312, suggesting that the fragment would extend from nt 414-2972, however EcoRI cuts this sequence at nt 407, not 414.
