Entity Detected:Pcsk5, proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 5 ( MGI:97515)
Notes:The Pcsk5 (SPC6/PC6) probe used in this study by Rancourt & Rancourt, 1997 [PMID:9291583] is described as "~1 kb long, beginning at the extreme 5'-end of the pSPC6 insert and extending to the StuI site at 980 bp (Nakagawa et al., 1993a [PMID:8468318] ). The resulting plasmid (pSPC6-5') was linearized with Xba I and transcribed with T3 polymerase to produce an antisense probe, or linearized with BamHI and transcribed with T7 polymerase to produce a sense probe." Editors Note: the insert of pSPC6 is 2.8kb long, but the start point is not reported.
