Notes:The Plagl1 (Zac1) probe template used in this study by Alam et al., 2005 [PMID:16193498] was "amplified by PCR using an E13.5 mouse embryonic cDNA library (ResGen) as a template and using the following primers: Zac1 5': AATCTAGACATGGCTCCATTCCGCTGTCA; Zac1 3' primer: AATCTAGAATCTCCCACAAGAGAAGCACC". The "Zac1 cDNA was cloned into the XbaI site of a pCS2-MT expression vector", and "Zac1 antisense probe was generated with XhoI and T7 polymerase and sense probe with Sph1/SP6".
