Notes:The Psmc2 (Pmsc2/MSS1) probe used in this study by Allen et al., 1997 [PMID:9107682] was "generated from the 1.4-kb S7 (Pmsc2) cDNA cloned (pBlusecript II KS) such that antisense is generated from the T7 promoter and sense from the T3 promoter." Elsewhere the authors state that "we used the previously isolated mouse cDNA, originally designated MSS1 (Gordon et al. 1993 [PMID:8247131] ). Editors Note: The MSS1 cDNA sequence was not published in the literature or in GenBank by Gordon et al, 1993. Only the protein sequence is shown (in Fig3 therein).
