Notes:The Cdh11 (Cad-11) probe used in this study by Kimura et al., 1995 [PMID:7750650] is described as follows: "Digoxigenin (DIG)-UTP-labeled RNA probes for hybridization were prepared by use of the plasmids pSP72-11 and pSP73-11. The pSP72-11 was constructed by inserting the 0.8-kb PstI-SmaI fragment of the mouse cad-11 cDNA (Fig. 1) into a pSP72 vector (Promega). The pSP73-11 was constructed using the pSP73 vector (Promega). EcoRI-linearized pSP72-11 was transcribed with T7 RNA polymerase for making a sense probe, and BamHI-linearized pSP73-11 was transcribed with the polymerase for making an antisense probe."
