Entity Detected:Cobl, cordon-bleu ( MGI:105056)
Notes:Cobl expression was detected in this study by Carroll et al., 2003 [PMID:14512015] using Cobl-LacZ embryos. The mutation is a gene trap insertion into a novel gene. Northern blot analysis demonstrated that a fusion transcript consisting of gene sequences and a lacZ gene from the gene trap vector was expressed in the embryonic node, notochord, floor plate and the roof of the gut. Subsequent Expression indicated that the gene trap allele is not a null allele but a hypomorph.
