Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Crabp2 probeA
Entity Detected:Crabp2, cellular retinoic acid binding protein II ( MGI:88491)
Notes:The Crabp2 probe used in this study by Colbert et al., 1995 [PMID:8563020] is described as being transcribed from a plasmid that was "a gift from V. Giguere (Giguere et al., 1990 [PMID:2166951] )". This plasmid is described by Giguere et al., 1990 as follows: "The clone lamda-mE2.1 encoding mouse CRABP-II was isolated from the same cDNA library (12.5-day mouse embryo cDNA library) by using a nick-translated 425 bp EcoRI-Nar I fragment derived from lamda-mE1.3. These cDNA clones were digested with several restriction enzymes." Editors note: the region covered is not reported.
