Notes:The anti-Ctnna2 (alphaN-catenin) antibody used in this study by Uchida et al., 1994 [PMID:8174789] is specified as "monoclonal antibody NCAT-2 (Hirano et al., 1992 [PMID:1638632] )". The generation of NCAT-2 is described by Hirano et al., 1992 [PMID:1638632] as follows: "the proteins were isolated from detergent extracts of 10-day-old chick embyonic brains and used to immunize rats. By screening culture supernatants of hybridomas produced with the splenocytes of these rats, two mono-clonal antibodies, NCAT-1 and NCAT-2 were obtained."
