Notes:The probe used in this study by Ferguson et al., 2001 [PMID:11714685] was originally described by Bosse et al., 1997 [PMID:9486539] , where "at least two different probes between 0.5-1.0 kb" that were "outside of the conserved Irx homeobox" were used. All probes are reprted as giving indentical staining patterns.
