Notes:The Rcan1 (Dscr1) probe template used in this study by Casas et al., 2001 [PMID:11231093] is described as follows: A "partial cDNA clone (accession no. AF260717, nt 484-2125) was obtained", "A 1641 bp fragment of the clone was obtained by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with M13 primers, purified and used as a template to generate sense and antisense riboprobes for ISH using either T3 or T7 RNA polymerase." Editors Note: nt 484-2125 of AF260717.1 equals 1641 nt in length therefore it is assumed that the entire insert of this clone was used as template.
