Notes:The Dlk1 (Dlk) probe used in this study by Tanimizu et al., 2003 [PMID:12665558] is described as follows, "A fragment of Dlk cDNA was amplified by the reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) with two primers: 5'-ATG CTT CCT GCC TGT GC-3' and 5'-GCA CGG GCC ACT GGC-3'. The PCR fragment was subcloned into the pCRII vector (Invitrogen). Sense and antisense single-stranded RNA probes were prepared by in vitro transcription using the dioxigenin (DIG) RNA labeling kit (Roche, Basel, Switzerland)."
