Notes:The Spnb4 probe used in this study by Tse et al., 2001 [PMID:11294830] is described as being "generated by in vitro transcription with T7 polymerase using as the template a 1.96-kb fragment of clone N164/N155 (nucleotides 114-2071) generated by PCR and subcloned into a pBluescript SK vector. RNA transcripts in the sense direction were generated with T3 polymerase and used as negative controls". Editors note: the sequence that this numbering refers to, is shown in cartoon form in Fig1 therein and was submitted to GenBank as AF311856.1.
