Notes:The Stra6 probe used in this study by Chazaud et al., 1996 [PMID:8792610] is described as follows: "A 3.0 kb Stra6 cDNA cloned in pBluescriptSK (Stratagene, Palo Alto, CA) was used in T7 polymerase in vitro transcription reactions including digoxigenin-11-UTP (Boehringer, Indianapolis, IN) to produce antisense riboprobes (manufacturers reagents and instructions). Probe length was reduced by alkaline hydrolysis with 0.1 M NaOH".
