Notes:Bmx expression was assayed in this study by Rajantie et al., 2001 [PMID:11416142] in mice heterozygous for a targeted allele whereby the gene was disrupted by replacement of exon 2, which contains the translation initiation site, with a lacZ-neo cassette via homologous recombination. See Fig 1 therein for a pictorial representation of the gene targeting strategy.
