Notes:The Tal2 probe used in this study by Mori et al., 1999 [PMID:9931488] was transcribed from clone pmTAL2alpha. For an antisense probe, the plasmid was linearized with SalI and in vitro transcribed with T3 RNA polymerase. The sense probe was transcribed from NotI-digested pmTAL2alpha with T7 RNA polymerase. Editors Note: The authors state "detailed sequence analysis was performed using pmTAL2alpha", and it was found to contain a "1307 bp cDNA insert with an open reading frame encoding 108 amino acid residues and with a poly(A) tail that is preceded by a polyadenylation signal". The sequence is shown in Fig1A therein but was not submitted to GenBank.
