Notes:The Tnni3 (cTNI) probe template used in this study by Di Lisi et al., 1998 [PMID:9738004] is described as follows: "An 800-base pair DNA fragment corresponding to the rat cTNI clone (Ausoni et al, 1991 [PMID:1935696] was used to produce sense and antisense RNAs". Editors note: Ausoni et al, 1991 published the sequence of a 830nt rat cardiac troponin I clone (RCTI-5 - see Figs 1 and 2 therein and also NM_017144.1) which is presumed to correspond to the probe sequence. Note however that Ausoni et al synthesised their antisense in situ probe from this clone when linearised internally using MluI (cuts at nt 340) which resulted in a ~500nt probe.
