Notes:
(B) Expression of Ubr1 in the e10.5 mouse embryo. Whole-mount in situ hybridization was carried out with either antisense (AS) or sense (S, negative control) Ubr1 cDNA probes . The regions of high Ubr1 expression are indicated by arrows (t, tail; fl, forelimb buds; hl, hindlimb buds). The branchial arches, where Ubr1 is also highly expressed in e10.5 embryos (data not shown), are not visible in this e10.5 embryo. (C) Expression of Ubr1 in the surface ectoderm of limb buds. Shown is a transverse section of a forelimb bud of an e10.5 embryo (se, surface ectoderm).

Type:in situ hybridisation probe
Identifier:Ubr1 probeA
Entity Detected:Ubr1, ubiquitin protein ligase E3 component n-recognin 1 ( MGI:1277977)
Notes:The Ubr1 probe template used in this study by Kwon et al., 1998 [PMID:9653112] is described by the authors as "a 1.2-kb Ubr1 cDNA fragment (nucleotides 3,150-3,355)". Editors note: elsewhere the authors state "Nucleotide sequences reported in this work have been deposited in the GenBank database accession no. AF061555 (mouse Ubr1 cDNA)", however there is conflicting information from the authors: the length of the probe as given (1.2kb) and that deduced from the nucleotide co-ordinates (3,150-3,355 i.e. 0.2kb) do not correlate.
