Notes:Vegfa (Vegf) expression in this study by Miquerol et al., 1999 [PMID:10433823] was assayed in embryos heterozygous for a targeted allele (VEGF-LACZ-KI). This allele expresses a bicistronic mRNA. An IRES-LacZ gene was inserted into exon 8 of the Vegf 3'UTR. This allele contains the selectable PGK-neo marker between two LoxP sites.
Labelled with:LacZ
Specimen
Organism:mouse
Age:9.0 dpc
Theiler Stage:TS15
Mutations:Vegfatm1Nagy/Vegfa+
Preparation:wholemount
Procedures
Fixation:0.2% glutaraldehyde, 2% paraformaldehyde, 2 mM EGTA, 2 mM MgCl2 in 100 mM Pipes buffer, pH 6.9
